Explay Infinity dual SIM Android ICS smartphone with 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus

Explay is plans to launch its mid-range Android smartphone in Russia in late August, the Explay Infinity. The handset is runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and brings a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The Infinity has two cameras: the 8MP on the back with autofocus and panorama mode, while the other is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing for video chats. New smartphone is also support dual SIM card slots.

Explay Infinity smartphone packs 4GB of internal memory expandable with MicroSD card. The amount of RAM and processor type is not specified yet (likely 512MB and 1GHz MTK MT6575).
Other feature is Wi-Fi and GPS. Its 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery is enabling up to 6 hours of talk time, up to 170 hours of standby.
Just 9.9mm thick (dimensions of 127 x 66.80 x 9.90 mm and weighs 115g), Explay Infinity dual SIM smartphone can be purchased for price of 9,999 rubles.

Android apps coming to Windows Phones?

There’s a weird rumor going around the Interwebs, suggesting that Microsoft may allow Android apps to run on Windows Phones. Something like that would quickly increase the app count for Microsoft’s mobile platform, but there are downsides as well. For one thing, this could entice developers to skip “regular” native development for Windows Phone. It’s a tricky choice. On one hand, the Redmond giant could benefit in the short term to have all those Android apps and games available on Windows Phone handsets. On the other hand, they could pretty much face extinction from the mobile game, with Windows Phone pretty much turning into yet another Android launcher. So no, we don’t think Microsoft will allow this to happen. At the same time, it may not stop other companies from pursuing this opportunity.
