LG Electronics today introduced a new member of its Optimus lineup that called the LG Optimus L9. This L-series handset is larger than the LG Optimus L7 smartphone. The L9 has a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen display (the resolution is not specified yet) and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Heart of the LG Optimus L9 is a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a high-density 2,150 mAh SiO+ battery. Other feature of the L9 phone is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a rear-facing 5-megapixel autofocus camera, a 0.3MP front camera, GPS, accelerometer, proximity and light sensor. Dimensions of LG Optimus L9 are 131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1 mm and weighs 125 grams. The smartphone is designed for use in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS 900/2100 MHz networks.
