Android 5.0 Lollipop update confirmed for the Galaxy Note II

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note II will also get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, although it hasn't yet confirmed the date. The announcement was made by Samsung Poland via a tweet. It is worth noting that the South Korean company usually updates it flagship devices for around 1.5 years, but the Note II seems to be an exception as it has been more than two years since the device was launched. Desire 626's existence confirmed, specifications revealed

Just a couple of weeks after leakster @upleaks provided information on HTC?s yet-to-be-announced Desire 626 smartphone, the device has been approved by China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center, effectively confirming its existence. The agency also published some images of the mid-range handset (one shown above), along with a complete set of specifications: the device is powered by a Mediatek chipset with an octa-core CPU, clocked at 1.7GHz, and features a 5-inch display of 1280x720 pixel resolution. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage space (expandable via microSD). The Desire 626 sports a 13 MP rear camera with flash, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 2,000 mAh battery. Weighing in at 135 grams and measuring 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.19 mm, the LTE-enabled smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Source | Via View the original article here

CONFIRMED: Samsung Galaxy Camera has Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection

But the official press information didn’t say anything on the type of the Corning product used. That’s why we decided to ask Samsung’s representatives at IFA about the protective layer over the Super Clear LCD screen on the Android-powered camera. It turns out that the Galaxy Camera’s display is indeed protected by the second revision of Gorilla Glass. Sure it’s not going to affect the purchasing decisions of anyone, but it’s still good to know that Samsung didn’t cut any corners there. View the original article here
