Program Bluetooth LE Devices from iOS to Control the Internet of Things

Albuquerque, New Mexico – The Byte Works Inc. is pleased to announce the release of techBASIC 2.3 today with full Bluetooth Low Energy support, enabling users to write programs to control the Internet of Things right from the iPhone or iPad. With the addition of Bluetooth LE students, hobbyists and scientists can now connect wirelessly to BLE devices for sports and fitness, heath care, electronics, security and home entertainment. The Bluetooth LE support is the latest addition to techBASIC’s technical computing environment designed for collecting, analyzing and displaying sensor data on iOS. Pulse launches web-based app, supports gestures on Internet Explorer 10

With its spanking new web app, Pulse allows you to log in to your account and sync with the news sites and blogs you already follow and read them via a PC web browser as well. But it doesn’t stop there. Pulse has apparently struck a deal with Microsoft and its web app works especially well on the latest Internet Explorer 10 on the Winodws 8 platform.
