Goldgenie creates £2.3 million iPhone 6

Motorola lets you pick a wood or leather back for the Moto X (2015)? That's cute, Goldgenie lets you pick between diamonds, sapphires, rubies, topaz and emeralds to put on your 24K Gold, Rose gold or Platinum iPhone 6. Of course, those aren?t color names, those are the actual materials. You can top it off with Swarovski crystals on the Apple logo. The diamonds ? white, pink or black ? are used to coat the sides of the device, leading to the name Diamond Ecstasy. Goldgenie is kind enough to offer you the option of bigger diamonds, so that you don't get laughed out of the private island club. iPhone 6 Diamond Ecstasy in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum The price is unspeakable ? a run of the mill Rose Gold or Platinum iPhone 6 costs as little as ?1,500 or a limited edition for ?2,500. This one though costs ?2.3 million ($3.5 million). That?s the base price, by the way, you can always hop on your private jet and fly out to Goldgenie HQ and take a hands-on approach with the cust...

Apple Rumored To Be Testing 4.9 Inch iPhone 6

The iPhone 5S hasn’t been available for very long, yet we’re already hearing more and more about its successor, the iPhone 6. Rumors of the next iPhone have been swirling around even before the 5s was announced, as the number bump has a tendency to bring many more enhancements, features, and tweaks than any ‘S’ iPhone model. Well, while we’ve heard it before, another rumor surrounding the iPhone 6 has surfaced, claiming that Apple is indeed testing out a model with a 4.9 inch display. CTech is reporting from an insider tip that Apple is set to launch the iPhone 6 with a 4.9 inch display. That’s not all, though. If the insider is correct, we may also see the successor of the iPhone 5C get a screen bump as well. We’ve heard quite a few rumors of Apple testing out iPhone handsets with larger displays, and it looks like the company will likely pull the trigger this time around. Whether or not we’ll see a 4.9 inch screen on the new iPhone remains to be seen, but we would be surprised if w...

New leak suggests iPhone 5S will rock dual-LED flash

type="html" xml:base="http://www.intomobile.com/2013/06/24/new-leak-suggests-iphone-5s-rock-dualled-flash/"> And yet again we have an “in the wild” photo of the upcoming iPhone 5S to show you. The new leak, provided by MacRumors , shows that the next Apple smartphone will add dual-LED flash to the mix to make for better photos when you take them in low-light conditions. MacRumors also noted that the main chip on the logic board is not labeled with an A-series name like A6 though that doesn’t say us much at this stage – Apple may print the chip name at a later point. Moreover, a date code visible on the bottom of the chip reads “1243″, suggesting that the chip was manufactured in the 43rd week of 2012, corresponding to late October. It’s unclear whether this is the same A6 chip used in the iPhone 5 or something newer, better. Finally, they say the battery carries a more recent Apple Part Number of 616-0652 compared to the iPhone 5 battery, which has carried seve...

Hilarious new iPhone ad parodies social network addicts

Posted in: Fun stuff, iOS 2 hours ago by Johnny iPhone users are among the easiest prey to poke fun at. We’ve all seen Samsung’s iSheep-targeted ads, and we won’t even go into the flame wars found in some of the comments sections on our site. Video artist Adam Sacks has taken the joke one step further by making a hilarious fake ad about the next-gen iPhone 5 in which he parodies people addicted to using their phones as a replacement for having a social life. Here’s the video itself: You can argue that the video is insulting to iPhone users but that would be taking things a little bit too much to heart. The idea behind the ad is actually really funny and ingenious and you have to admit the DSLR-like iPhone 5 concept looks really great. What do you guys think about the ad? Let us know in the comments section. Via View the original article here

Guardian photojournalist captures the London Olympics with little more than an iPhone

Posted in: Digital cameras, Fun stuff, iOS August 3rd, 2012, 16:23 by Johnny Dan Chung, a photojournalist on Guardian’s payroll has realized an interesting idea – capturing the all you can eat 2012 Summer Olympics action with a smartphone. The device in question is an iPhone – a 4 and 4S. To aid him in making the results matter he uses the Snapseed photo editing app and occasionally some add-ons like binoculars and special lenses. His photoblog-slash-Olympics-portfolio is very interesting. He posts regular updates with captured moments both on the floor of the London Olympics and off it – in the subways where he meets and snaps away at smiley-faced fans. Dan Chung uses a Schneider lens to capture fisheye pictures, or sometimes Canon binoculars to get closer to the action. Finally, he edits the end results with Snapseed, which is an iOS app with some heavy adjusting tools to tune a photo’s saturation, depth of field, color efects, etc. Source | Via View the original article here

Apple releases new iPhone 4S ad, starring Martin Scorsese

Posted in: iOS, Mobile phones, Mobile Services About an hour ago by Prasad Apple has released yet another ad for the iPhone 4S highlighting the Siri functionality. And this time, they have none other than Mr. Martin Scorsese himself. This new ad sticks to the same formula as the previous ones. The celebrity is using the Siri functionality on the iPhone 4S to manage day to day tasks such as changing appointment schedules, which highlights the ease of using just your voice to do these otherwise tedious tasks while simultaneously highlighting the conversational nature of Siri. This particular video has Mr. Scorsese is in a cab, finding out the schedule for the day, moving around calendar events, locating his friend on a map using the ‘Find My Friends’ service and finding out the traffic on his current route, all using his voice. Personally, this is my favorite of the new series of Siri ads featuring celebrities because it actually shows the celebrity, Mr. Scorsese in this case, doing so...
