Intro Thing: Create stylish character intro videos on the iPhone

Tokyo, Japan – 3909 LLC is pleased to announce the August 24th release of Intro Thing, a unique new video app that combines filmed motion, momentary freeze frames, and music to create slick character introduction videos. Using techniques seen in movies like “Snatch”, “The A-Team”, “Three Musketeers”, and more, Intro Thing generates stylish introduction sequences that can be easily edited, previewed, and shared with others directly from the iPhone.

Seen the movie “Snatch”? How about “The A-Team” or “Three Musketeers”? Remember that cool freeze-frame character introduction at the start of these movies? Fist flying through the air, then *BAM* freeze-frame! It’s Brad Pitt!

Intro Thing uses the same techniques, combining filmed motion and momentary freeze frames, to create short videos introducing people, pets, objects, or anything of choice.

Focused and Easy to Use:
There are plenty of video apps for the iPhone that are packed with features, filters, and options. Intro Thing is different in that it’s designed to do one thing well and its interface is streamlined to make this task quick and easy. Simply tap the screen while filming to mark the freeze frame moments. After filming, select the music, style, and enter a name and alias for each character. The intro can be played back instantly at any time. For more control, users can adjust the exact frame for each character or draw a highlight to separate them from the background. Characters can be added or rearranged and the final video can be shared with friends and the world on YouTube or Facebook.

Intro Thing is a lot of fun to use, but it also offers real utility. Starting a new softball team? Promoting a band? Out with friends at the bar? Attending a wedding? Yup, just as we’ve told you before, Ubuntu is coming to a Meizu smartphone near you.
