The Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest events in the mobile industry and it's about to start this very Sunday. As usual, the event is held in sunny Barcelona, where key industry players will present their latest products. With so many product announcements happening in a few short days, it's bound to get confusing, so we though we'd come up with this cheat sheet to help you follow your favorite brands. The largest smartphone manufacturer is preparing to blast through MWC with a flagship duo in the face of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Sharing all things Nokia on the World Wide Web

Conversations is just a small part of Nokia’s presence on the Internet. In fact, most of the credit and most of the work belongs to you! We know that your blogs and websites are an integral part of spreading the word, and the love, for all things Nokia. It also says a lot about your passion and enthusiasm for Nokia’s products that so many of you have taken the time and effort to create websites devoted to them. You could say that it’s humbling. We have compiled a list of some of our favourite Nokia fan websites and blogs. Some are focused on a particular device or aspect of Nokia, while others are more wide-ranging. We’ve sorted them into categories: GeneralLumia and Windows PhoneNokia 808 PureView and photographySymbian   My Nokia Blog http://mynokiablog.com/ The biggest compliment I can pay to ‘My Nokia Blog’ is that it could easily be mistaken for an official Nokia website. There is a wealth of content that covers everything from the latest news (and rumours), tutorials and acces...

Challenge your mind and the world with Wordament

How do you spell competitive, stimulating fun? W O R D A M E N T, that’s how. It’s different to your usual hack and slash game and it really challenges the mind. We first wrote about Wordament back in March and since then it’s grown to a hugely popular word spelling game, receiving 4.5 stars from over 15,000 ratings.   The idea of the game is really simple. You’re presented with a square grid of 16 letters from which you need to spell out as many and as long a word as possible. Each letter must be adjacent to the previous one and you spell the word by tracing it on the screen without lifting your finger. Each letter is assigned a score, so make sure you make the most of those high-ranking letters and use them whenever possible in order to score big.   The length of each game only lasts for two minutes so you need to think fast. While you may not think that’s an issue, it is when you consider that you’re playing the exact same set of tiles with every other player around the world. They...

QR codes offer quick, easy and often innovative means to encounter to new experiences on your phone and in the outside world. The specially-created square barcodes have been around for a couple of years, but now they’re popping up everywhere, offering quick links to websites, nutritional information, GPS directions, movie trailers and more. Some pranksters are even printing custom stickers linking to the infamous Rickrolling internet meme. Have you experimented with the QR (Quick Response) code reader on your Nokia Lumia Windows Phone handset? Unlike most handsets, you don’t need a standalone app and you can get there in just two taps. Just hit the Search key and then the eye icon and get scanning. Here are some of our favourite uses: If you’ve been browsing on your PC and laptop and see an app you’d love to have on your phone, there’s an easier way to get it than performing the same search on your handset. Quite often a QR code will appear on the page itself and scanning will take yo...
