New rumors state Galaxy S6 will offer wireless charging

The rumors about Samsung's next highly-anticipated flagship phone just keep pouring in. Controversy is at an all-time high and it seems that leaks are starting to contradict themselves more and more. One of the more widely spread opinions on the tech scene is that the Galaxy S6 will keep with current design trends and spout a full-metal unibody. However this might turn out to be not entirely true as two separate industry sources are now reporting that the Galaxy S6 will come with built-in wireless charging capability. The couple of reports come from DDaily and News 1 Korea and both hint at magnetic induction wireless charging in the smartphone. This is all fine, but magnetic induction can simply not function with an all-metal body. The material is a formidable barrier for electro-magnetic waves, making the whole process all but impossible due to losses and even quite dangerous. If the Galaxy S6 does indeed come with wireless charging that must mean that its back will not be 100% ...

Hands-on review: CES 2014: SteelSeries Sensei Wireless Mouse

SteelSeries, a major purveyor of mechanical keyboards, had a big secret to share with us and it turns out the PC gaming peripheral maker had a new wireless mouse called the Sensei Wireless. The mouse promises to deliver lag-free wireless gaming with a one-millisecond response time from dragging the device to whipping around in FPS games. What's more the mouse has a maximum sensitivity of 8200 Counts-Per-Inch (SteelSeries' version of DPI) to recognize every hand flick. We got a quick couple of moment to manhandle SteelSeries new wireless addition based on the older, wired Sensei mouse models to see if it was just as quick as the tailed rodent. Southpaw or not Stats aside the ambidextrous mouse feels nice in hand. It's nowhere nearly as ergonomic as a mouse specifically sculpted for right or left hands, but the top is lined with a soft, rubbery material to keep our palms glued to it. For a gaming mouse, the Sensei Wireless is incredibly light and there aren't included we...

Review: Creative T4 Wireless

It's been over five years since we reviewed the excellent Creative T3 2.1 speakers . I still have them in my kitchen at home and use them for bouncing around the kitchen to loud music while I cook. If you forget the perplexingly dismal Creative ZiiSound T6 system that Creative burped out a few years after the T3s and skip straight to today's menu, the new T4 Wireless 2.1 system is Creative's follow-up and it's excellent. Packing two satellite speakers, Creative 'Slam' subwoofer, Bluetooth 3.0. aptX support and NFC for pairing, it's essentially the T3 system reborn for the smartphone generation, and we really like them a lot. You can pump them full of your music using 3.5mm jack, optical in, Bluetooth and you can also plug in via USB and use the subwoofer as a functional plug-and-play soundcard if you so wish. The addition of NFC means you can walk through your front door, tap your NFC-enabled smartphone against the audio control pod and continue listening ...

Published by Ian Delaney on September 2, 2012 Purity just got even more pure. The Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster was unveiled this week at IFA in Berlin as the latest in our fast-growing line of audio accessories. As the name suggests, these new headsets offer a wire-free connection to your phone. Music transfer is by Bluetooth and the headsets feature one-touch pairing with your smartphone using NFC.
