Windows-powered One (M9) rumored, to be US exclusive

HTC Hima has been in the rumorland for quite a while, leaking with pictures, specs, camera samples and everything. It should be announced at the MWC in March in Barcelona as the HTC One (M9) and will be coming with a 5" 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 chipset 20MP dual camera setup at the back and an 4MP UltraPixel sensor for selfies at front. The upcoming Hima has already been tipped to come running on Windows as well. Today @upleaks confirmed the HimaW is the codename for the Windows 10 model of One (M9) and it won't be announced at the upcoming MWC but on a later date. The popular tipster also mentions the HimaW will be sold exclusively in the USA. That's certainly heart-breaking news for WP and HTC fans elsewhere. Microsoft and Qualcomm have already announced we can expect Snapdragon 810-powered Windows devices in 2015, plus HTC has already released a Windows version of its One (M8) flagship. EXCLUSIVE: Samsung is reportedly working on a Galaxy S III-based 16MP point-and-shoot

Posted in: Android, Digital cameras, Featured, Rumors August 24th, 2012, 12:49 by Peter A tipster just sent us some really interesting gossip – Samsung is working on a Galaxy S III-based point-and-shoot camera. The convergence device – called Samsung Galaxy S camera – features the trademark 4.8? SuperAMOLED screen and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (no info on the chipset though). Yes, it does sound a bit too good to be true, but let’s dream for a moment and here what our tipster (who has proven reliable on previous occasions) has to say about this camera he claims to have seen with his own eye two weeks ago. The Samsung Galaxy S camera is described as a Galaxy S III glued to the back of a point-and-shoot camera, with no physical buttons on the back. It is reportedly 1.5 to 2 times thicker than an S III, but that seems too little given the rumored 10x zoom. The camera will feature a 16MP sensor of unkown size, a pop-out Xenon flash and a curved right side to help with the ergonomics....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies hits the Google Play store as Sony Xperia exclusive

Posted in: Android, Gaming 12 hours ago by Stefan Dead Trigger is no longer the go-to zombie shooter with impressive graphics in the Google Play store, people. Glu Mobile have released Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android, thus making choice for the genre lovers more difficult. The new member of the Call of Duty franchise will be exclusive to Sony Xperia smartphones for its first month of availability. The list of handset includes the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Xperia S, as well as the Xperia ion. I am particularly impressed to see the Xperia Play in this group, as it is already of considerable age by Android smartphone standards. In case you are interested, be aware that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies doesn’t come cheap. Glu Mobile are asking $6.99 for their latest offering. Source | Via View the original article here
