LG Optimus L9 4.7-inch dual-core Android ICS smartphone

LG Electronics today introduced a new member of its Optimus lineup that called the LG Optimus L9. This L-series handset is larger than the LG Optimus L7 smartphone. The L9 has a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen display (the resolution is not specified yet) and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Heart of the LG Optimus L9 is a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a high-density 2,150 mAh SiO+ battery. Other feature of the L9 phone is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a rear-facing 5-megapixel autofocus camera, a 0.3MP front camera, GPS, accelerometer, proximity and light sensor. Dimensions of LG Optimus L9 are 131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1 mm and weighs 125 grams. The smartphone is designed for use in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS 900/2100 MHz networks. The Optimus L9 fella is home to a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP camera and 4GB internal storage. We find the screen to have pretty good image quality and sharpness even though it’s 234ppi density isn’t the best in class. The viewing angles are above average, too. LG Optimus 4X HD SIM-free available in the UK

Folks in the UK are now able to buy the LG Optimus 4X HD SIM-free. Available in black and white, both British retailers, Amazon UK and Expansys is selling this LG smartphone in unlocked version for £446 (about €565 or $699) and £399.99, respectively. Unlike other retailers, Phones4U is offering the LG Optimus 4X HD smartphone for pre-order with carrier plans (Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and O2). You can get it for free on monthly plans (as low as £27). The LG Optimus 4X HD smartphone is scheduled in stock starting August 23 on Phones4U. As noted, the LG Optimus 4X HD smartphone has been launched in other markets since two months ago. LG Optimus Zip sideways slider smartphone coming to TracFone

TracFone, the prepaid US carrier is plans to release an Android smartphone, the LG Optimus Zip. This handset is likely the re-branded LG Enlighten, which is already available on Verizon (or LG Optimus Slider for Virgin Mobile). The LG Optimus Zip smartphone has a full physical sliding QWERTY keyboard and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The Zip boasts an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen HVGA (320 x 480) display, and a MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB). LG Optimus L7 Pink Edition

The pink LG Optimus L7 (LG-P705) smartphone will be launched in Taiwan next month. Apart from this version, this LG smartphone is already available in a few markets including Asia, Europe, and Canada but the Optimus L7 has only in black and white color options. LG Optimus 3D Max Review

You saw the LG Optimus 3D Max Unboxing last month, here is the complete review of the 3D phone, successor of the Optimus 3D that we review last year. It was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year. It went on sale in India last month, and was officially launched later. Let’s get into the review. LG India today confirmed to FoneArena at the LG Bloggers Meet today that the Optimus Vu is indeed coming to India later this year. The Optimus Vu is a 5-inch phone from LG which puts it in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy Note. The screen is one of the main highlights of the device and it packs a 1024x768px resolution.
