Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet hybrid device will soon get the new competitor, the Thomson X-View 2. As noted, the existing Galaxy Note has feature a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 5.3-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and an 8-megapixel camera (1080p video recording). The new Thomson X-View 2 brings a same large 5.3-inch touchscreen display but lower resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The selling point is also dual-SIM card slots and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. New phablet-styled device boasts a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal memory, and a MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB).
