Sony Xperia Ion smartphone in Russia

The one of powerful smartphones from Sony has entered the Russian market, the Sony Xperia Ion. This handset will be available in Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) and price tag 25,000 rubles. New Xperia Ion smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and works in UMTS/HSPA 900/1200 MHz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.

The Sony Xperia Ion packs a 4.6-inch touchscreen HD Reality display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and about 12.9GB of user-accessible memory expandable with MicroSD card.

Other feature of this phone is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / GLONASS, a 12MP rear camera, FM radio, proximity, orientation and illumination sensors. In additional, there are USB and HDMI ports, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Dimensions of Sony Xperia Ion are 133 x 68 x 10.8 mm and weight 144 grams. Its battery is enough juice up to 10 hours of talk time, 400 hours on standby.
