After Galaxy Note II phablet, Samsung has recently officially announced its new ATIV range of devices, the Samsung ATIV S. This handset is previously known as the Samsung Odyssey and brings a pretty design paired with a brushed aluminum finish on the back.
Unlike Galaxy Note II handset that runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the Samsung ATIV S has Windows Phone 8 as its operating system. Powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, new ATIV S smartphone delivers a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and capable to 1080p video recording.

As memory term, this Windows Phone 8 handset packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of built-in storage, and a MicroSD card slot. In connectivity feature, there are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, A-GPS, and Bluetooth 3.0. Other feature is a 2,300 mAh Li-Ion battery and HSPA+ 42Mbps (850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz).
Weighs 135 grams, the Samsung ATIV S smartphone has measures 137.2 x 70.5 x 8.7 mm.
Samsung ATIV S WP8 handset will be showcased during IFA 2012 in Berlin (August 31 until September 5).
