This is the easiest way to transfer media files from a smartphone/tablet to computer

Just the other day, SanDisk unveiled a neat little device that will make moving of media files from a smartphone or tablet to computer as seamless as possible. The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive comes with a regular USB port on one hand, and a microUSB one – on the other. So when you want to move some files from your mobile device, simply connect the SanDisk’s device to a microUSB port and copy all the photos and videos you want. Then, connect the same device using a regular USB port to a computer and make a local copy of those files. Pretty easy, right? The best part is that the drive’s dual USB ports feature a retractable cover, meaning no caps to lose while still keeping the connectors safe.

Yeah, I know – you could rely on some cloud-based storage service to accomplish the same thing, but this is much faster. Or so I think.

The only problem is – whether you want to buy yet another device. If you do want it, you can get it in capacities ranging from 16GB to 64GB. The entry-level model with 16GB of memory could be yours for $19.99, whereas the 64GB version will sell for $49.99. So are you in?

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run Symbian Watch which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.

Yup, just as we’ve told you before, Ubuntu is coming to a Meizu smartphone near you.
