Nikon Rumors have now published some pictures that are allegedly of this yet to be announced camera. The camera in question looks like your usual point and shooter from the front, until you get to the back where you’ll find a large touchscreen along with the usual physical Android navigation keys. To be honest, something about this picture doesn’t seem right. If Nikon is putting Android on their cameras, something tells me they won’t just put up a stock Android ROM on there, complete with an alarm and music player app, which seem out of place on a camera. Instead, they would probably try to make the UI seem more like their existing cameras while maintaining Android specific features such as image sharing or a web browser, rather than make it look like a generic Android phone’s UI. Albuquerque, New Mexico – The Byte Works Inc. is pleased to announce the release of techBASIC 2.3 today with full Bluetooth Low Energy support, enabling users to write programs to control the Internet of Things right from the iPhone or iPad. With the addition of Bluetooth LE students, hobbyists and scientists can now connect wirelessly to BLE devices for sports and fitness, heath care, electronics, security and home entertainment. The Bluetooth LE support is the latest addition to techBASIC’s technical computing environment designed for collecting, analyzing and displaying sensor data on iOS. The Cupertino based behemoth has taken the title from its rival Microsoft, which at one point was valued at $618.9 billion. What’s better than taking photos of your friends while poking silly faces? Swapping their faces around afterwards, that’s what. Face Swap is a fun app for your Nokia Lumia that pulls the faces off two of your friends and slaps them on the other’s head; digitally speaking, of course. With a bevy of apps out there that add blurry, grainy or coloured filters to your photos, this one is slightly different and there aren’t many on the market that do it this well. Using clever algorithms (I imagine that’s what happens) Face Swap searches for faces in the photo and delicately cuts them out then stitches them – almost – seamlessly together.
